Competition refresher magazine published this article page no 34 the worlds largest platform is being built at hubballi station in karnataka. at present gorakhpur railway station has the largest platform in india and the world. hubballi is the headquarters of the south western railway (swr) zone. one line of platform number will be increased by 550 meters to 1400 meters. it will be ten platform meters. presently the worlds highest platform of 1366 meters is in gorakhpur. this work which started in november 2022 will be completed by 2023. hubli station has been constructed at a cost of rs 201 crore as part of the reconstruction of hubli yard competition refresher magazine subscription.
